Valeur Plus writes a new chapter in its story

Jean-Pierre Monney and Richard Schwéry founded Valeur Plus in the year 2000. Imbued with deeply held human values and eager to make their own contribution, they took the bold gamble of creating their own company to support entrepreneurs, SMEs and businesses across the economic fabric of French-speaking Switzerland

At its origin, a genuine friendship gave rise to this fine and enduring partnership. A source of inspiration for the clients and colleagues who have had the chance to travel part of the road alongside them, Jean-Pierre Monney and Richard Schwéry have risen with flair and passion to the many challenges that have made Valeur Plus the company it is today. More than 20 years have passed, marked by successes, obstacles, captivating anecdotes and immensely enriching experiences. ​

The company has grown with its two founding partners, and the time has now come to take a new turn.

On the threshold of a well-deserved retirement, Richard Schwéry wishes to continue his life's adventure under the colours of Africa to take on an entirely different mission. He will gradually step back from his operational activities to make way for a new organisation.

Keen to ensure a degree of continuity and proud to honour the partnership that binds him to his loyal clients, he will continue to carry out certain specific assignments from time to time and will retain a key place within the company, remaining a Director of Valeur Plus alongside Jean-Pierre Monney.

His expertise, his sharp mind, his creative eye and his legendary good humour have contributed enormously to the company's success. It is with one voice, with a touch of emotion and a great sense of accomplishment, that we extend to Richard Schwéry our warmest thanks for these 21 wonderful years of collaboration.

To continue this fine adventure and stay attuned to the evolving needs of its clients, Valeur Plus is banking on complementarity and the blending of generations. With sustainability in mind, it thus offers prospects for the future and fosters the personal growth of its staff by enabling them to broaden their areas of expertise, within a company on a human scale.

This same logic of development underpins the change that has taken place since 1 July 2021. With a dynamic of growth, and convinced that it is by combining "experience", "know-how", "a taste for challenge" and "innovative ideas" that agility is born, Valeur Plus is delighted to unveil its new organisation.

Alongside Jean-Pierre Monney, Founder, Director and Managing Director of Valeur Plus, and Sylviane Monney, Head of Finance and Quality, Johanne Pecora now holds the position of Deputy Director as of 1 July 2021.

A full member of the team for more than two years, she began her work as a Business Developer, then quickly broadened her area of expertise by taking on certain training and coaching assignments, before ultimately assuming responsibility for the marketing & communications division.

Driven by a strong determination to contribute to the success of Valeur Plus, her background as a business economist, her career as a manager and her solutions-oriented approach make her the ideal partner to support the company's development and to carry through its major projects, in a spirit of collaboration and sharing, in perfect harmony with the DNA and culture of Valeur Plus.
